Troop 355 has been around for over 30 years and continues to strive for excellence. We are an active unit of the Iron Horse District, and Sam Houston Area Council.  Our charter organization is St. James The Apostle Catholic Church, located at 22800 Aldine Westfield, Spring TX 77373 where we meet in the Scout Hut on Monday nights from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. Every meeting we work on scout skills, meet as patrols, and play games. Our goal is to learn and have fun at every meeting.
 
 As a Boy Led Troop, the boys plan and run all of the activities. We have campouts once month and a week-long summer camp in July. Some of our favorite camps include Enchanted-Rock, San Marcos River, Ink's Lake, and many more. We have been to lots of summer camps including: Camp Strake, Camp Buck Toms, Camp Tom Hale, Camp Constantin, Buffalo Trails Scout Ranch, El Rancho Cima, and many more. We plan to attend Camp Alexander near Colorado Springs, in July 2022.
 

The best thing about Troop 355 is our enthusiasm. We love doing cheers, songs, and just having fun! You can tell everyone is having a great time. We stand out wherever we go. In fact, once at summer camp, one of the staff members said "oh, you're from that troop" (in a good way of course), and from then on we've been called "THAT TROOP," and we really are!
